About the Donegal Volunteer Centre
The Donegal Volunteer Centre (DVC) has been connecting people and communities across County Donegal through volunteering since 2008. In that time, it has supported more than 600 community groups and helped over 3,500 volunteers find meaningful opportunities that suit their interests, skills, and availability.
Operated by DLDC, the centre provides a free matching service for both individuals who want to volunteer and organisations that need volunteers. Whether you are looking to give something back to your community, develop new skills, or simply meet new people, the Donegal Volunteer Centre can help you find the right opportunity. And if your organisation depends on the energy and commitment of volunteers to deliver its work, we can help you find the right people.
All services are free and available to anyone across County Donegal.
How We Can Help
At the heart of the Donegal Volunteer Centre is a simple idea: that the right volunteer in the right role can make a real difference, both to the organisation they support and to themselves. Our team works to make those connections happen as smoothly as possible, supporting both volunteers and organisations throughout the process.
Registration and matching is managed through the i-vol.ie platform, where individuals can browse available opportunities and organisations can post their volunteering roles. Our team is also available directly to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer support at any stage of the volunteering journey.
